I’m a self-published author with over 20 books currently on Amazon. Over the last decade I’ve spent an enormous amount of time, energy and money promoting the books, mostly on social media. I’m convinced this is the wrong approach.
My new approach is to lift content from my non-fiction books and install it on a new website where people can download. All of the content will aim at solving pain points associated with fiction writing, self-publishing and book marketing. A lot of content has already been installed. The site exists at https://hanque.gumroad.com/
Considering that you've written a book that details how to use social media to promote books, I wonder what you think that appropriate approach should be.
Actually, social media is only one of many topics on book marketing in the book. Social media works for some people, but it doesn't work for me when it comes to selling books. Time to move on.
