NRA issues a new warning
Faux News Network Health Reporter Ben Angioplasty filed this report.
NRA spokesman Ira Snops issued a warning to government agencies to be careful about issuing regulations on the thousands of drones expected to be developed for the coming holiday season.
"While many models can be safely subjected to regulations," Snops said, "some models are protected by the 2nd Amendment. These protected models are the ones that can be equipped with assault weapons or other projectile weapons. Regulating these types of drones is analogous to regulating holsters or gun racks. Further, it is unconstitutional and therefore illegal.”
A reporter asked, “What about the threat of terrorists or mass murderers using such drones? Wouldn’t that justify the regulations? After all, the drones could fly over a target area and open fire. How could we prevent that from happening without regulations?”
An incensed Snops replied, “That does not justify the regulations. Absolutely not! And our marketing department projects that this will be one of the more popular uses for these drones. Nevertheless, the government agencies can't use their incompetence as an excuse to deprive citizens of their lawful rights. It is of utmost importance to defend our constitutional rights even if it costs hundreds or even thousand of lives. The human toll is no justification to circumvent the Constitution."
Snips continued,” Any politician who thinks he can subvert the Constitution will feel the wrath of the NRA and its members.”
Angioplasty will update this report as more information will is obtained.
