Back in 2009, a small publishing company put out my antholigy of humorous fantasy and sci-fi short stories called Tunnel Vision. Three years later, the book went out of print after selling 21 copies. The experience with this publishing company led me to go into self-publishing.
The short stories in the anthology have been unavailable until now. Before the end of the month, a new version of Tunnel Vision will become available. It will have the 20 original stories plus 2 new ones. A few of the stories have been posted on this newsletter.
The title, Tunnel Vision, refers to the ability to view events through a set of filters that allows someone to interpret the events in strange ways. This anthology is loaded with characters who specialize in extreme tunnel vision. They easily turn ordinary events into convoluted disasters.
Here is a sampling of these characters:
• The world’s only female Viking berserker invades Manhattan to avenge her father.
• A violent alien vists New York searching for talent for his new show.
• Lucretia Borgia finds her first true life while on assignment for Satan.
• An mild-mannered guy accidentally summons Loki the trickster god of the Vikings.
• The world’s best salesman sells his way out of Hell.
So the big question is this: Who wants an advanced review copy of the ebook?
Cover reveal:
Yes! I remember this book! I'll take a copy - my original is probably on a computer from a long, long time ago...
